The Granary: Formally a traditional Granary, this barn has been converted into a single storey, two bedroom cottage with wheelchair access that is a long standing favourite. The Granary is a spacious, open plan cottage with a beautiful vaulted, south facing kitchen with ‚cathedral window‘. This bathes the cottage in sunlight and provides superb views while cooking or sat at the breakfast bar. The lounge and dining areas have an impressive vaulted ceiling and are warmed by a state of the art woodburner. There is a spacious bathroom with bath and separate shower, tastefully designed to incorporate wheelchair access. The master king bedroom features an organic Demko latex and coir mattress on a solid wood Greta frame with french doors onto a private breakfast terrace. The second twin bedroom features two award winning, luxury Demko bed-systems and brings the capacity of this cottage up to four. Granary has a fully enclosed and private patio garden area with BBQ that benefits from evening sun. It is also opposite the therapy room so only a short distance to glide back to your cottage after a blissful massage or relaxing yoga session.

The Mill House: The Mill House is Little Comfort’s largest cottage, sleeping 10 very comfortably in 5 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms – spacious, versatile and often the hub of group gatherings. The spacious open plan living areas are at the heart of this lovely former Mill House with great views of the Devon countryside. This cottage was made for social gatherings with a well equipped, wood and slate kitchen and breakfast bar, range cooker, ten foot oak refectory dining table and big comfy sofas warmed by a woodburning stove. A fully enclosed garden offers space for play, barbeques and relaxing sundowners. The ensuite downstairs bedrooms feature organic Demko king size beds and share a south facing terrace for lazy breakfasts. The upper level (ground level from the outside access) has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Each upstairs bedroom has two euro size organic Demko single beds, and one room features the multi award winning Demko bed-systems. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and all living areas are wheelchair accessible.

Woodlark is a super cosy bolthole cottage with views over the treetops and valley. On the ground floor, you will discover two incredibly inviting bedrooms, a spacious bathroom and separate WC and upstairs a beautifully light and airy, open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. Children adore sitting on the raised box seat, surrounded by cushions, a great place to curl up and read a book or enjoy the views. You can even watch bats emerging from Caen Byre’s roof in the evening which is quite a sight! Fully renovated and restored in winter 2018. The bright, south facing main bedroom has a king size, award winning organic bed and the second bedroom features a luxury double bunk bed which sleeps 2, or 3 little ones. Top bunk for over 6’s only but bottom bunk is pretty awesome! A bathroom with bath and shower over and separate toilet makes the downstairs a super practical layout. Woodlark is strictly no dogs.

Caen Byre: Converted from a traditional Byre (cattle shed!) into a beautiful detached cottage. Fully renovated and restored in winter 2018. A traditional, dog friendly two up, two down layout with a fully enclosed south facing courtyard garden overlooking the landscaped gardens – our favourite cottage for barbeques and outdoor dining. In winter, the lounge with comfy sofas and wood burning stove is particularly inviting. Fully equipped kitchen with double oven, dishwasher, induction hob and dining table. The king bedroom has lovely views of the river and beyond and the second bedroom has three single beds. There is a shower room upstairs and a bathroom with bath downstairs. The enclosed garden and large tiled entrance porch makes Caen Byre well suited to those with dogs, muddy children or bulky outdoor gear!
